Are you a Law Clerk with experience in Real Estate law ? Our private-sector client is looking for someone able to provide administrative support in completing residential and commercial real estate transactions while assisting in the area of development law. Salary range: $60,000-$70,000

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 3+ years as a Law Clerk in commercial and residential real estate
• Ability to work on-site, 5 days a week, in downtown Ottawa
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Unity, and Teraview
• Ability in preparing and editing correspondence; strong verbal and written communication
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
• Experience with commercial real estate (conveyancing and financing) is an asset

About the role

If hired, you will:

• Draft and edit correspondence with quality assurance
• Prepare precedent-based documents as needed
• Conduct title sub-searches and review title searches
• Manage workflow, assisting lawyers with prioritization and follow-ups
• Handle internal and external communications (mail, email, fax, calls). Scheduling and coordinating meetings
• Close and organize client files for storage
• Support additional projects as needed
