Thank you for interest in this role! We are currently hiring for a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist who can join a small but mighty team in Contra Costa County.

As a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, you should possess the following: Master's or Ph.D,

CRC, VE, and CLCP certification, and 3-5 years of courtroom testimony experience!!

Minimum job requirements include:

1.The ability to work onsite in the office

2.An established reputation as an ethical professional

3.The ability to develop and present independent, objective, and unbiased opinions

4.Experience in all phases of the vocational rehabilitation evaluation process

5.A reputation for promptness, efficiency, organization, and confidentiality

6.Excellent report writing skills

7.The ability to work on multiple cases simultaneously under strict deadlines while developing empirically-based opinions that benefit all parties

The following attributes of a candidate for the position are preferred:

1.Deposition and trial testimony experience

2.An interest in monitoring changes in state and federal laws and court decisions that impact evaluation and testimony activities, and making necessary adjustments in evaluation and reporting methodologies

3.A successful track record or interest in participating in and contributing to the profession as an author of published, peer-reviewed journal articles, holding leadership positions in professional associations, teaching, and others.
