Are you an expert in payroll administration with a knack for accuracy and detail? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Payroll Administrator. This position requires a dynamic individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Payroll Administrator, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Managing the full-cycle payroll process for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
2. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
3. Coordinating with HR to ensure correct employee data.
4. Maintaining and documenting all payroll records.
5. Conducting regular audits on payroll procedures and records.
6. Handling payroll-related queries and resolving issues promptly.
7. Preparing and submitting reports on payroll operations to the management.
8. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and auditor reports.
9. Assisting with annual budget forecasts.
10. Managing and resolving issues relating to payroll production.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
2. Proficiency in QuickBooks and other payroll software.
3. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
4. Strong work ethic and team player.
5. High degree of professionalism.
6. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
7. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.
8. Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
9. Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
10. Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
