Working primarily in our Outpatient Clinic, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community.nnWhether you’re drawn to Whitefish for its world-class skiing, stunning hiking trails, or welcoming small-town atmosphere, this position offers an unparalleled opportunity to advance your career while living in an extraordinary location.nnQualifications:nnMinimum of one (1) of the following required:nnCurrent Montana Occupational Therapist (OT) license.nnGraduate of an accredited program of Occupational Therapy and must successfully obtain Montana Occupational Therapist (OT) license within thirty (30) days of hire.nnCurrent BLS HCP CPR certification as applicable to assigned area(s).nnKnowledge of and skilled in the use of materials and equipment, processes, procedures and techniques currently used in occupational therapy.nnExcellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.nnCommitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.nnExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.nnExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.nnPossess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.nnJob Specific Duties:nnEffectively plans, oversees, delegates and instructs assigned staff members in an effort to provide services in a competent and efficient manner.nnAdministers OT treatment to patients relative to age, culture and conditions of patient as applicable to assigned area(s).nnImplements specific and individualized treatment programs for patients according to the principles of OT, Logan Health policy and payer requirements.nnCompletes all required documentation in a timely manner according to payer guidelines (Medicare, private insurance, Medicaid) and Montana practice guidelines for occupational therapy.nnExhibits effective communication skills in regards to all aspects of care, i.e. communication with patients, peers, family members, students and team members regarding OT related information.nnCollaborates with patient, family and team to develop goals and/or discharge.nnEnhances rehabilitation services by participating in projects and/or programs within the department, the facility and the community as applicable to assigned area(s).nnAchieves set productivity standards per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).nnThe above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification.
