Performs supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to, material procurement, outsourcing, and vendor selectionnnManage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements, with a focus on cloud-based and SaaS (Software as a Service) procurements.nnSourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.nnManagement of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and executionnnCompleting sourcing documentation in accordance with compliance standards.nnNegotiating agreements with a focus on risk mitigation and value-add.nnEnsures high internal customer satisfaction.nnSupports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.nnWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:nnBachelor’s Degree or additional 4+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degreenn5+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurementnn2+ years’ experience managing and executing services agreementsnnLocation: HybridnnExperience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.nnAbility to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.nnAbility to make sound decisions and recommendations.nnAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.nnDetail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.nnAbility to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.nnKnowledge of federal, state and local statutes, laws, rules, and regulations related to governmental purchasing programs, competitive bidding processes, and procurement management;nnIt would be great if you also had:nnExperience with Cloud/SaaS agreementsnnProven track record of gaining efficiencies through process improvement and automationnnKnowledge of Microsoft Office, Workday, Sharepoint and Fuse applicationsnnGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:nn?
