Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Purchasing Assistant for our Cincinnati team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this position is handling the day-to-day purchasing of supplies for the company offices, including printed goods, shipping, and receiving, and corporate office mail.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Responsible for day-to-day purchasing for Corporate and branch offices by approving orders for My Office Products and finding comparable materials when vendor is out of stock or does not supply an item. Also approves and assigns purchase orders for miscellaneous purchases (flower orders and non-standard supply orders).
  • Responsible for management of print goods which includes coordination of branch orders, ensuring all orders are processed correctly and in a timely manner, purchasing all print orders from vendors and ensuring printer has all files necessary to carry out print jobs. Ensures that offices are using current and appropriate forms.
  • Ships and receives parcels and boxes for entire corporate office.
  • Responsible for collecting, dispersing, preparing, and sending incoming and outgoing mail for the corporate office.
  • Resolves all problems involving purchasing including supply orders, print orders, building/ workspace issues, shipping/receiving issues, and postal issues.

Minimum of two years of related purchasing experience required.
