Tesla is seeking a motivated Senior Pricing Specialist to join Tesla's Used Cars Pricing and Analytics Team. This role will play a key role in defining and driving the overall pricing strategy for Tesla's Used Cars business in North America and will focus on trade-in competitiveness and profitability. The ideal candidate should have experience in pricing, be extremely data-driven and pragmatic, and possess strong business acumen. Excellent executive communication and presentation skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement a robust pricing strategy for Tesla's North America Used Cars department, taking the lead role in multiple projects with business-critical deadlines
- Identify and propose improvements to valuation methodologies and tools, focusing on accuracy and ease of deployment
- Develop and present executive-level business proposals, succinctly communicating problem statements, analyses, and recommendations
- Manage and consolidate a comprehensive understanding of the used cars market, ensuring competitive pricing
- Provide full transparency to Used Cars unit economics, being ultimately responsible for pricing data and reporting accuracy
- Collaborate closely with Senior Leadership, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Engineering, and Product
- Foster a professional, respectful, and welcoming work environment, while maintaining Tesla standards for personal and operational excellence
Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical role
- Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Excel and PowerPoint expertise
- Experience with statistics and model building
- Foundational coding literacy, particularly in SQL and Python
- Experience in a fast-paced environment highly desired

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $150,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
