Title : Mechanical Design Engineer

Location : Oklahoma City, OK

Contract : 10-12+ months

Job Description:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC/AHU system design and applications
• Fair knowledge of the fundamentals of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer
• Strong knowledge of the HVAC industry and building codes that relate to HVAC equipment like ASHRAE standards
• Good familiarity with regulatory entities including UL, ETL, AHRI, and ASHRAE is preferred.
• NPD of Air Handling Unit (AHU) used for Data Centres
• design, development, and implementation of residential and commercial HVAC products
• Selection / Specification of HVAC/AHU components,
• materials, and capacities of standard and custom HVAC equipment
• Design calcs for HVAC/AHU systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure new products are optimized for manufacturability, installation and field service
• CAD software - Any software / Creo
