Four Dogs Tavern & Marshalton Inn is seeking an executive line Cook join our team. Previous experience in a high-volume operation is necessary. Reliable transportation to work is required.
You will be working alongside our Chef/owner. We are looking for a talented individual with passion and drive for perfection, and who is willing to participate in creating seasonal menus and designing new dishes alongside the Chef/owner. This position will requires a professional who is organized, structured, dedicated to top food quality and taste that sets high standards for their output.
Job duties and expectations are as follows (but not limited to):
- Excellent culinary skills
- High Energy and experience in high-volume establishments
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility with schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ensure the highest quality food products, presentation, and portion
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Keeps stock room, cools, and freezers clean and ensures that food supply stocks are rotated, all perishables are labeled, dated and stored properly
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor towards all co-workers and guests
- Must have a passion for food
