The Role
North Star: The ACD Art Director is responsible for idea generation and artistic direction on a range of creative outputs, managing projects from conceptualization, design and execution. They will frequently oversee the work of other creative team members, including art directors, designers and copywriters.
Their role requires them to think creatively and strategically, inspire other creative team members, the agency as a whole, and ensure creative excellence in all outputs. The ACD Art Director will report to the Executive Creative Director.
The ACD Art Director will be responsible for the following:
- Tackle creative briefs with strong conceptual thinking
- Inspire and push innovation and excellence in craft across all agency work
- Develop holistic creative approaches across spectrum of asks, from campaigns to tactical executions
- Collaborate effectively and proactively with other agency teams - accounts, strategy, pr, production
- Compellingly present creative thinking and outputs to both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and foster strong client relationships
- Provide artistic direction for photography, film, animation and digital applications
- Manage projects through entire lifecycle from concepting, execution to delivery
- Manage and mentor other creative team members, both on projects basis and overall career development
- Oversee development of and review creative work
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
- Degree in a related field;
- 7+ years of experience in an agency;
- Exceptional conceptual and design skills
- Experience in print, video, digital, xm, social executions
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong production experience and knowledge
- Proficient in Adobe creative suite for Mac operating systems;
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluent in English, oral and written.
