Role: Personal Injury Associate Attorney

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days in office/2 days remote

Salary: $140,000 - $185,000

Job Description: Our client, a successful & growing law firm, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Attorney to join the dynamic legal team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in personal injury law and a strong passion for advocating on behalf of clients who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others.

Responsibilities:

• Draft Motions & the responses to them.
• Attend conferences
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Draft & Review Discovery Responses
• Prepare and present cases in court as necessary (virtual and in person), including drafting trial briefs and delivering opening and closing statements.
• Collaborate with medical experts, investigators, and other professionals to strengthen case arguments.

Requirements:

• 2 to 8 years of personal injury experience (preferably plaintiffs, but not required)
• Trial experience preferred but not required
• Active license to practice law in New York State.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good writing skills
