JOB SUMMARY
The physician provides clinical care in an Emergency Department setting. Follows and directs evidence based practices established within the service line. Collaborate and coordinate the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure appropriate continuum of care.

- Annual volume: 10,000 patients
- 25 bed Critical Access hospital
- 24 hr physician coverage (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am)
- 12 hr APP coverage
- Hospitalist team handles admissions
- Nocturnist on staff - minimum half of nights covered
- EMR: CPSI (with roadmap to transition to Cerner to align with the system)
Preston Memorial is part of the Mon Health System and the larger Vandalia Health, making support and resources readily available. 45 minutes to Morgantown, WV (where the Mon Health flagship facility is located)
1hr 50m to Pittsburgh, PA (where Pittsburgh International Airport is located)
Close proximity to many outdoor recreational activities - skiing, hiking, white water rafting, kayaking
Education: MD or DO required
Certification: Board eligible/board certified in EM with inpatient experience OR Internal Medicine or Family Medicine board certified with EM experience
License: WV Medical License required
