Cordia Resources is seeking a Billing Specialist for a leading government contractor specializing in providing innovative solutions to federal agencies. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Billing Specialist with experience in Costpoint. As Billing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for government contracts, maintaining compliance with regulations, and supporting financial reporting. Responsibilities:

  • Generate and submit accurate and timely invoices for government contracts using the Costpoint ERP system.
  • Review contracts and billing terms to ensure compliance with government regulations and guidelines.
  • Allocate project costs accurately to specific contracts and tasks in the Costpoint system.
  • Collaborate with project managers and finance team to ensure proper revenue recognition.
  • Perform regular billing analysis and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
  • Assist in government audits by providing well-documented financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain the Costpoint system with up-to-date billing and project data.
  • Prepare and present billing-related reports to management and project teams.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Billing Specialist, preferably in a government contracting environment.
  • Proficiency in Costpoint ERP system is required.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and billing requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
