From our position at the intersection of music, entertainment, and technology, we bring imagination and expertise to the newest products and platforms, embrace new business models, employ breakthrough tools, and provide powerful insights that help our artists push creative boundaries and reach new audiences. In everything we do, we're committed to artistic integrity, transparency, and entrepreneurship.

Sony Music Entertainment is a member of the Sony family of global companies.

The Creative Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction and visual identity of the record label and its artists. Working closely with artists, designers, and marketing, the Creative Manager will oversee the development of creative assets that align with the label's brand and vision. This position requires a balance of creativity, leadership, and project management skills to ensure that all creative materials-from album artwork to promotional videos-are consistent, compelling, and aligned with the label's strategy.
What you'll do:

  • Creative Strategy Development:
Collaborate with senior management and artists to define and execute the creative vision for the label and its releases. Develop strategies that align with the label's brand and target audience.
  • Content Creation & Oversight:

  • Artist Collaborations:
Work closely with artists to ensure that their creative vision is reflected in all aspects of their image and branding, including album covers, music videos, and live performances.
  • Project Management:
Oversee multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and that projects stay on budget. Coordinate with various departments (A&R, marketing, digital, etc.) to ensure cohesive and timely delivery of materials.
  • Brand Consistency:
Ensure that all visual materials, marketing collateral, and artist branding are consistent with the label's overall brand identity. Maintain a strong understanding of trends and ensure the label's image remains fresh and relevant.
  • Creative Direction for Marketing:
Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to create engaging content that promotes releases and builds the label's digital presence. Help develop strategies for digital campaigns, social media, and online platforms.
  • Budget & Vendor Management:
Manage the budget for creative projects, ensuring that creative assets are delivered within financial constraints. Source and liaise with external vendors, including photographers, videographers, and graphic designers, when necessary.
  • Performance Analysis:
Track and analyze the performance of creative campaigns and assets. Provide insights and recommendations for future improvements based on metrics such as engagement rates, sales data, and audience feedback.

Who you are:
  • Experience:
2-4 years of experience in a creative management role, preferably within the music, entertainment, or fashion industries. Previous experience in a record label or with musical artists is highly preferred.
  • Creative Expertise:
Strong background in graphic design, visual arts, photography, videography, and other creative disciplines. A keen eye for design and a deep understanding of how visual elements can shape an artist's brand.
