Job Description:Responsibilities- Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Drive revenue by achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Developing and executing detailed business development plans and strategies to identify and pursue new opportunities, and tracking progress.
- Proactive sales tactics ideation and innovative thinking for selling data- and research-led solutions.
- Create relevant marketing and sales content to build brand and products/solutions awareness.
- Sales pipeline and opportunity management and tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brands/sponsors, sports teams, leagues, agencies, and media partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for clients.
- Provide market insights and feedback to internal teams for product development and improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, best practices, and emerging technologies related to sports and entertainment research and data.
Qualifications- 7 years of experience in business development and sales within the sports and entertainment, data and analytics, or SaaS industry.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of the sports/entertainment and research/data landscape, including key players, solutions, industry trends, and challenges.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior-level executives and industry professionals.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with a proven ability to close deals.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market research to drive strategic decision-making.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A desire and willingness to travel - attend conferences / industry events, networking, meeting prospects and clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Salesforce a plus.
