Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Senior Plaintiff Mass Torts Litigator with a minimum of 8 years of experience for our firm. The ideal candidate will be equipped with excellent writing skills, a get-the-job-done attitude, and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
Responsibilities:
Handle large volumes of tort cases from beginning to end.
Lead and mentor less experienced litigators and paralegals within the firm.
Work directly with clients to establish rapport, understand their needs, and guide them through their case.
Draft and file complex complaints, motions, and pleadings, and respond to defendant's motions when necessary.
Advise and consult with clients regarding mass torts litigation strategies, potential outcomes, and negotiation strategies.
Display informed decision-making abilities during negotiations and mediations with opposing counsel to successfully resolve cases.
Participate in all stages of trial preparation and execution, including witness preparation, research, opening and closing statements, and jury selection.
Stay updated on current case law, legislation, and procedural rules that pertain to mass torts to provide accurate advice to clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
Be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Alabama. License to practice law in Georgia and Florida also a plus.
A minimum of 8 years' experience with complex plaintiff mass torts litigation.
Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently.
Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills.
Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to empathize with clients and understand their needs.
Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrated get-the-job-done attitude and a dedication to client satisfaction.
