Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for a “RN-ED” position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in NYC, New York. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Description: Job Title: RN-ED Location: NYC, New York Schedule: 36 hrs/week Shift: Night / 7-7 (12 hrs) Contract Length: 13 Weeks Pay Range: $2750.00- $2870.00 Weekly DOE Overview: We are looking for highly organized, compassionate candidates to work as ER nurses. ER nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained, among other duties. Key Responsibilities: Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency. Quickly assessing patient needs. Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. Performing minor medical operations. Cleaning wounds. Drawing blood. Maintaining emergency room care standards. Assisting with insurance paperwork. Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process. Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios. Qualifications: Mandatory minimum 2 years Emergency Medicine experience. 1 yr travel exp for EPIC exp highly pref. Trauma experience is a plus. Certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, CEN is a plus.
