Asset Manager

Asset / Lease Manager, Direct Hire

LOCATION:

Sterling Heights, MI

JOB SUMMARY FOR ASSET MANAGER:

• Will have responsibilities and tasks aligned with the company’s operational needs, especially related to managing and maintaining assets like equipment, vehicles, and leased property, along with compliance to accounting standards and taxes.
• Will play a critical part in ensuring that records are accurately maintained, compliance is adhered to, and financial reporting is aligned with accounting standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ASSET MANAGER:

• Maintain complete and accurate asset listings/records from each location in Company database
• Organize, input, maintain supporting documentation for all leases into Company database
• Perform timely and accurate lease accounting reconciliations under ASC 842
• Assist in various audits, inquiries
• Document and monitor internal controls in support of auditing team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR ASSET MANAGER:

• 3-5 years
• •Experience with asset management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• •A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is often required, with additional qualifications like CPA being beneficial.
