At Drunken Cookies, our mission is to create the world’s best cookies and deliver them across the U.S. We are seeking a talented Executive Pastry Chef with large-scale production experience and a passion for innovation to lead our production facility in Statesville, NC.
- Lead and manage large-scale cookie production, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch.
- Oversee research and development (R&D) of new recipes, product lines, and seasonal offerings.
- Innovate and experiment with new flavors, ingredients, and baking techniques to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to align production and R&D goals with business objectives.
- Manage and train a team of pastry cooks and bakers to optimize production efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are consistently met in the production facility.
- Manage inventory, sourcing, and ordering of ingredients in collaboration with supply chain teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth operations.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef.
- Expertise in lresearch & development, particularly in baked goods or desserts.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Creativity and a passion for innovation in baking, with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
