Sr. Business Analyst

• Mostly remote, but should live in and around the Chicago so you can come in as needed.

Requirement Gathering & Documentation:

• Conduct and facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
• Perform Fit/Gap Analysis and develop Business and System Requirements.
• Create User Stories and Use Case Scenarios.

Design & Process Improvement:

• Lead Joint Application Design sessions and develop functional and technical design documentation.
• Perform business process analysis, document workflows, and create business models.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Produce required documents, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS), and Gap Analysis reports.
• Create Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Business Process Models, and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and ensure proper documentation of project deliverables.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a similar quantitative field.

Certifications:

• PMI PBA, CBAP, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of business analysis experience, preferably in cross-functional implementations.
• Experience in K-12 education or the transportation industry is a plus.
• Experience in project or program work related to education is preferred.
• This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, experience in business analysis, and an interest in improving the transportation services at the client through modern technological solutions.
