TRC is currently seeking a Power Systems Engineer for one our clients located near Roswell GA. This is full-time permanent position with a manufacturer that possesses a very strong brand. This role will be responsible for designing, modifying and writing programming for power systems and switchgear applications.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Executing and supporting the design, test, manufacture, and commissioning of low and medium voltage switchgear that controls multiple generators which parallel to one or more utility sources.
• Interacting with internal and external customers to meet project milestones and budgets.
• Providing direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings for generator paralleling switchgear controls.
• Creating bill of materials for generator paralleling switchgear controls in ERP system.
• Creating PLC programs for control of generator paralleling switchgear.
• Executing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Traveling to support startup and commissioning activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree – Electrical Engineering or other Engineering related degree.
• At least 3-5 years job related experience.
• Allen Bradley and/or Schneider PLC programming.
• Knowledge of system operations and PLC based controls.
• Have a detailed understanding of NEC, UL, ANSI and other standards.
• Have an understanding of power generation and switchgear systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
