About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Application Administrator to take ownership of our Salesforce platform. You’ll focus on ensuring system performance, optimizing functionality, and enhancing workflows to support organizational objectives. This role combines technical expertise with collaboration across departments to drive platform improvements, maintain security, and ensure data accuracy.
You’ll support daily administrative tasks, manage integrations with tools like the Learning Management System (LMS), and develop dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for the business.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Platform Management
- Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and implement changes effectively.
- Work closely with users to gather feedback, resolve issues, and optimize system functionality.
- Administer changes with minimal disruption, adhering to established change management processes.
- Oversee integrations, including data exchange processes between Salesforce and third-party platforms like LMS systems.
System Security and Configuration
- Maintain system integrity by managing user roles, profiles, and permissions.
- Monitor application storage, user licenses, and system updates to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate and test Salesforce platform updates to assess and communicate impacts.
Data Integrity and Management
- Ensure data accuracy by managing imports, identifying and merging duplicate records, and resolving errors.
- Monitor integrations and exception logs for seamless data exchanges.
- Regularly audit and maintain high-quality, clean data to support business needs.
Reporting and Analytics
- Develop and maintain customized dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for teams.
- Organize and manage reporting structures to improve efficiency across departments.
System Troubleshooting and Support
- Resolve user-reported issues related to workflows, configurations, and system functionality.
- Collaborate with technical teams to address complex challenges requiring deeper analysis or custom development.
- Identify trends in system issues and recommend process or platform enhancements.
Process Documentation and Improvement
- Document processes, workflows, and field structures for clarity and consistency.
- Develop and optimize new processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- 4 - 6 years of Salesforce system administration experience.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce standard functionality, configurations, and reporting.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (required).
- Experience supporting third-party system integrations and maintaining data exchange processes.
- Familiarity with CRM concepts and their impact on business processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement creative, scalable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with tools like Mulesoft or similar integration platforms.
- Proven success managing data migrations and maintaining clean, high-quality datasets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
