Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement front end and backend components of our mobile/desktop application.
• Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces to enhance the user experience of our training platform.
• Optimize application performance and ensure seamless functionality across various devices and platforms.

Requirements:

• Location: In office at San Francisco, CA (crucial for the nature of the startup)
• Proven experience in developing front end and backend components for web applications.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of backend technologies including Node.js, Python.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL or NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience working with LLM workflows (RAGs, fine tuning)
• Experience with aviation-related technologies or simulation software.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Passion for aviation and interest in aviation safety and training.
