SALES ASSISTANT POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Staffing and securing Model homes.
- Greet visitors and provide demonstration of models, inventory homes and available homesites using Sitterle’s Circle Selling process. Explain the community concept, the product, standard and upgraded features, uniqueness, plot plan, etc.
- Provide information (brochures, maps, preferred lender information, price sheets, etc).
- Refer guests, friends, and family to appropriate Sitterle community if this is not a match in the current community. Advise the respective community Sales Professional about the referral and information learned via Smart Touch.
- Answer phone calls and provide requested information to Colleagues, Prospects, Realtors, Buyers, Decorators, Appraisers, and Contractors.
- Acquire guests, friends and family information and complete registration cards with information learned from each guest, friend and family using the circle selling questions and process. All information gathered will be entered into the Smart Touch System.
- Assure model homes are clean, and furnishings and equipment are in first class condition. Advise the community Superintendent about maintenance or cleaning issues for resolution.
- Monitor and request an adequate supply of inventory lists, marketing flyers, visitor cards, office supplies, refreshments, etc. Purge outdated marketing information per direction from Marketing Manager, Internet Sales Area Manager or Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Write change order requests, as required, for the Sales Professional’s review or a member of Management.
- Assist Sales Professionals in requested administrative duties, including file organization and maintenance, drafting change order requests, scheduling appointments, contacting Buyers, obtaining Buyer signatures and payments for Change Orders, and inputting guest and buyer information into Smart Touch.
- Investigate and resolve issues. Communicate immediately with the Sales Professional of the community or a member of management.
- Track and reconcile contract prices and authorized upgrades, as requested.
- Update traffic reports for days worked via Smart Touch.
- Update MLS and other listings, as needed. Update status boards, if Sales Professionals, Supers and Project Managers use this tool in their respective communities.
- Upon request provide Director of Sales & Marketing and Internet Sales Area Manager with Administrative and project driven assignments.
- Will host or help at realtor functions. If hosting alone, you may deliver brief presentations.
- Writes basic contract information in preparation for Sales Professionals and Buyers to execute them. May sit in on contract executions.
- Provide Customer Service Request forms to Homeowners; directs homeowners to website for proper process in reporting customer service requests.
- Update Sales Professionals so they are aware of all activity during your coverage of the community (verbally or in writing and via Smart Touch). Update Superintendents and Project Managers as needed.
- Assist Sales Professionals with organization and sales office maintenance.
- Provide coverage to other communities as needed and upon request.
- May represent Sitterle products at special events, such as building shows, etc.
- Participate in special sales and marketing projects.
- May be necessary to cover Sales Professionals’ vacations, sick days or weekend coverage as needed across Houston Communities Sitterle Homes Communities.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTE REQUIREMENTS
A mature professional with an outgoing personality is ideal. Must be able to engage visitors and build rapport using training provided via circle selling process. Prefer to have building or sales experience. Must be a good listener and be able to work with interruptions. Requires an initiative-taker, with a positive attitude, who will pursue and initiate special projects or learning opportunities that will help Sitterle Home’s operations. The ability to provide excellent customer service is essential.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of builder databases (Smart Touch) is necessary and will receive training.
