Position Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Schaumburg, IL

Working hours: 8:30am-5:00pm

Saraly: 60-70K + Bonus

A Japanese trading company is seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Maintaining the general ledger

· Preparing, Reviewing and Recording financial transactions/entries

· Supporting A/R and A/P

· Expense Reporting/Management

· Account reconciliations and Analysis

· Supporting Fixed Assets/Asset Management

· Supporting various taxes, including Income, Sales/Use and Property

· Supporting Month end Closing

· Assisting with Year End audit and Six-Month Review

· Reviewing financial statements

· Preparing financial reports

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred; An Associate’s degree is required.
• 3-5 years of general accounting experience is preferable.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Excellent oral and communication skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
• Strong understanding of US tax regulations.
