Construction Manager – Fiber to the Home (FTTH)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage Fiber to the Home (FTTH) construction projects from preconstruction planning through project closeout across multiple sites.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality and safety standards.
  • Lead and supervise in-house construction teams and subcontractor crews, ensuring productivity and adherence to project schedules.
  • Manage material inventory, including procurement, allocation, and tracking to prevent shortages or delays.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety protocols.
  • Facilitate and lead customer meetings and maintain consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project roadblocks to maintain project momentum.
  • Document field changes, prepare redline drawings, and ensure accurate as-built documentation.
  • Oversee and ensure accurate and timely billing, including validating quantities and deliverables for invoicing.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, Finance, and Logistics to streamline project workflows.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Telecommunication Construction Management, with a strong emphasis on FTTH projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in supervising construction crews, both in-house and subcontracted.
  • Strong knowledge of outside plant (OSP) construction practices, including aerial and underground fiber deployment.
  • Experience in material management for construction projects.
  • Proficient in preparing and reviewing redline drawings and project documentation.
  • Skilled in conducting and leading customer meetings with professionalism and clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve project roadblocks efficiently and creatively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and promoting a culture of safety across all teams.
