Our client, a leading food and beverage organization, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager for the night shift. The successful candidate will foster a culture of safety, service, and cost efficiency, engaging with associates, managing personnel, and ensuring the accurate and timely handling of products. We are looking for a seasoned leader with a background in distribution centers within a union environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership: Ensure all associates follow safety procedures and remain injury-free. Champion safety protocols and training programs.
• Team Development: Coach and train warehouse associates, addressing performance gaps and discussing improvements with Senior Warehouse Managers. Provide ongoing training and mentoring to enhance skills and performance.
• Order Accuracy: Oversee the accurate staging and loading of orders, ensuring timely and error-free deliveries. Monitor the preparation of orders to minimize mistakes and delays.
• Operational Monitoring: Track productivity rates and provide coaching to improve efficiency. Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) requirements. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and ensure all operations comply with food safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Education: College degree preferred.
• Experience: At least three years of warehouse distribution experience.
• Supervision: At least one year of workforce supervision experience.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP, and other relevant regulations.
