About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to take on a senior leadership role, with a focus on both operational and strategic finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day finance function, including accounting, tax, treasury, financial operations, FP&A, and finance business partner functions. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 15 years of progressive finance experience, at least 7 years in leadership positions, and a strong background in crypto or high-growth fintech. The VP of Finance will work closely with the CFO to ensure the delivery of financial excellence and will be instrumental in the company's growth and scaling.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Finance include team leadership and operations, driving operational excellence in finance activities, and serving as the primary escalation point for the finance team. The role also involves overseeing the accounting, tax, and treasury functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing the financial planning and analysis processes. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent qualification, and a deep understanding of the intersection between crypto/blockchain technologies and traditional finance. Experience in scaling finance operations, working with external advisory firms, and dealing with legal, international operations, and HR functions is essential. The VP of Finance will also be expected to provide financial guidance to department heads, translate complex financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders, and drive process improvement initiatives across the organization.
