About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting and investment management functions, with a strategic focus on safeguarding, managing, and growing assets. This role is pivotal in the multi-generational wealth management landscape, requiring a proactive leader with exceptional technical expertise and a commitment to service. Key responsibilities include financial management and reporting, investment operations and analysis, tax, compliance, and audits, as well as risk and insurance management. The VP of Finance will also be involved in additional leadership tasks, such as leading major projects, managing HR systems, and ensuring smooth financial operations for grant payments and charitable initiatives.Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have 10-15 years' of experience in a family office, wealth management firm, or large foundation, with a proven track record in managing complex financial operations. A CPA designation is required, along with a background in public accounting. The role demands extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and financial reporting, as well as proficiency in managing alternative investments and wealth management strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, and have a genuine interest in supporting the family's philanthropic vision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is essential, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely is a must.
