Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Developer (AWS) for a Long-term Contract job with a client in Renton, WA . This position requires 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS.

• Rate Range: $58.00/hour to $65.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
• Location: Renton, WA.
• Duration : 1 year + with good possibility of converting to Direct Hire.
• Type: W2 Contract; Hybrid (one day/week at home)

Responsibilities and Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Java.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, Route 53, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, and IAM.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with Kafka is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Curiosity and problem-solving skills
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity and complexities.
• Experience with agile and scrum methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to present to all levels of the organization
• Engineering experience/knowledge of heavy-duty commercial truck systems a plus.
• Willingness to learn and use new engineering processes and techniques and be resourceful in solving complex technical problems.
• Experience in product development and new product implementation.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with personal computer software including project management tools, word processing, flowchart/modeling, presentation, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Willingness to grow personally and professionally in a results-orientated environment.
• Hands-on expertise of common industry frameworks like Spring Boot and Cloud, Rabbit MQ or Kafka, API Gateways. MQTT knowledge is a plus.
