Recent Michelin Recommended, Nicosi is a dessert bar that challenges your expectations by embracing acid, sweet, bitter and savory all while extracting the nuances that truly make them unique. Nicosi is an intimate venue with only 20 seats that hug the kitchen. This show and tell style of seating fosters one on one dialogue with chefs over an 8-course, pre-set menu.
As the Nicosi Executive Pastry Chef, you are responsible for overseeing creative direction, training, development, and execution.
HOURS & SCHEDULE
- Minimum 50 hours weekly
- Work 5 days a week - Wednesday - Sunday
- Contribute to a high moral by being respectful and maintaining a positive mental outlook
- Play an active role in challenging yourself and those around you
- Four menu changes a year
- Cost new menu items, update order guides, disposables, smallware, and chemicals
- Manage hiring
- Post on poached and schedule interviews and stages
- Maintain quality standards set by Pullman Market
- Training and development of team members with emphasis on food presentation and preparation methods
- Ensuring proper inventory control and ordering practices are utilized
- Check-in with staff weekly to ensure quality standards are met and kept
- Be an ambassador of the company and professionally represent themselves in and outside of work.
