Senior Manager, Risk Analytics
Client: Big 5 Bank
Location: Downtown Toronto. 1 day in office
Duration of Contract/Perm: 6-month contract with potential to extend or convert
Hours/week: 37.5 hours/week

Job Description : We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager with 7-10 years of experience in Retail Risk Analytics, proficient in Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL Query, and SAS. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to guide a diverse team, coupled with the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and deliver insightful business reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Client Account Management team in Fraud.
- Oversee the development and enhancement of queries, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Address the lack of documentation by implementing and maintaining comprehensive records.
- Provide guidance and support to a team with varying levels of experience, focusing on coaching and development.
- Collaborate with Customer Data Integration team to manage database queries and build new ones as required.
- Utilize technical skills to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Must Have Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Retail Risk Analytics, including loss forecasting, contact center analytics, and workforce analysis.
- Proficiency in Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL Query, and SAS.
- Experience in Machine Learning/Modelling work.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to coach and guide a team, particularly junior-intermediate resources.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a banking or financial services environment.
- Familiarity with database management and risk systems.
- Additional certifications in data analysis or risk management.
