Job Description
Responsibilities:
Leading and Managing Projects:
Oversee large, complex projects consisting of multiple Agile teams, ensuring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams
Process Improvement:
Develop and manage a well-defined program management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
Risk Management:
Maintain dependency plans between planned sprints across all teams and identify/mitigate risks
Training and Adoption:
Work with Agile teams and stakeholders to drive adoption and training, ensuring they understand and use Agile methodologies
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor project progress and performance, providing periodic progress reports and dashboards to key stakeholders
Conflict Resolution:
Manage and resolve conflicts, challenges, and obstacles that may occur during the project lifecycle
Communication:
Ensure clear communication and organization of all strategic initiatives as well as regular updates and project reports
Stakeholder Management:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met
Metrics and Reporting:
Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the progress and success of the initiative
Providing regular status updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders
Change Management:
Leading change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or systems
Continuous Improvement:
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team collaboration
Looking ahead at the program roadmap 6 months and beyond
Creating and facilitating initiative artifacts
Ensuring the business gathers necessary information before engaging engineers for future components of the initiative
Kicking off IT engagement when it's time for engineers to start looking at future segments of work within the initiative
Qualifications:
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as PMP, PSM, CSM, SAFe, or similar
Experience:
Proven experience in Agile project management, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously
Tools Experience:
JIRA, Confluence, Lucid Chart, MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS-Project etc.)
RTE/Senior Scrum Master experience
- Required.
Technical Experience
: Java/Microsoft - Preferred
