Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and Managing Projects: Oversee large, complex projects consisting of multiple Agile teams, ensuring integration with other activities outside the scope of the Agile teams
  • Process Improvement: Develop and manage a well-defined program management process and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Risk Management: Maintain dependency plans between planned sprints across all teams and identify/mitigate risks
  • Training and Adoption: Work with Agile teams and stakeholders to drive adoption and training, ensuring they understand and use Agile methodologies
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor project progress and performance, providing periodic progress reports and dashboards to key stakeholders
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage and resolve conflicts, challenges, and obstacles that may occur during the project lifecycle
  • Communication: Ensure clear communication and organization of all strategic initiatives as well as regular updates and project reports
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met
  • Metrics and Reporting: Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the progress and success of the initiative
  • Providing regular status updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders
  • Change Management: Leading change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or systems
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team collaboration
  • Looking ahead at the program roadmap 6 months and beyond
  • Creating and facilitating initiative artifacts
  • Ensuring the business gathers necessary information before engaging engineers for future components of the initiative
  • Kicking off IT engagement when it's time for engineers to start looking at future segments of work within the initiative


Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, PSM, CSM, SAFe, or similar
  • Experience: Proven experience in Agile project management, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously
  • Tools Experience: JIRA, Confluence, Lucid Chart, MS-Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS-Project etc.)
  • RTE/Senior Scrum Master experience - Required.
  • Technical Experience : Java/Microsoft - Preferred
