Quality Assurance Tester

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $104,000 - $124,800 per year

Location: Remote Role

Job Summary:

We require a QA Tester skilled in manual testing in a retail environment with strong experience with Jira and Confluence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help mitigate risks and issues impacting the MoF Systems Team.
• Prioritize requirements and continuously refine them for the Systems team.
• Define acceptances for system integration.
• Define the End-to-end scope for downstream systems to validate.
• Define NFRs by collaborating with solution architects for performance testing.
• Review test outcomes and provide feedback early to ensure appropriate test coverage.
• Review the planned test coverage for the features under test and provide feedback on the priority of the tests.
• Partner with product managers and owners cross-organizationally to solidify the bigger picture of the systems team.
• Ensure all the dependencies align between agile teams and external teams outside of ART by partnering with delivery and test leads, respectively.
• Ensure any scope outside of ART is funneled, documented, prioritized, and available in the appropriate product backlog for the testing team.
• Provide clarifications on the acceptance criteria based on behavior observed while testing.
• Facilitate prioritization of defects vs. epics under development to ensure timely address of defects and meet target timelines.
• Help deliver platforms of scale to support MoF system-wide testing of code, content, and configuration.
• Ensure support from external teams is available by partnering with RTE, Delivery Lead, and Test Lead.
• Evaluate the feasibility of system modifications and enhancements and provide feedback to the system under test.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and design, to understand current gaps and product requirements.
• Participate in the prioritization of the product backlog in partnership with product management.
