In the role, you'd be part of the firm's Coop/Condominium Practice Group, responsible for all duties regarding sale, purchase, mortgage, and refinance transactions. Ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding on the analysis of title & survey documents, as well as experience negotiating documents for title clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys with real estate transactions, including drafting contracts, closing documents, and ACRIS transfer tax returns.
• Manage cooperative apartment sales and resales, including acting as transfer agent and coordinating stock and lease transfers.
• Prepare and update condominium offering plans, including declarations, bylaws, and related legal documents.
• Collaborate with title companies to resolve title issues and oversee closing processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in real estate transactions, preferably within residential real estate (coops/condominiums),
• Experience with preparing closing statements
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail, time management, and task prioritization with ability to collaborate
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Compensation:

• $65,000 - $80,000 (Benefits Included)
