Coworx Staffing is hiring a Certification and Regulatory Specialist for one of our top manufacturing clients in East Longmeadow, MA. In this part-time, onsite role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Research and Development (R&D) team to ensure products meet all legal, safety, and certification standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute product certification and approval processes to ensure compliance with national and international regulations.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure products are safe, legal, and meet all certification standards.
• Analyze test results, prepare applications, and oversee certification signing processes.
• Work with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain and update documentation, including regulatory approvals and labels, using software tools.
• Support global Sales and R&D teams by addressing certification needs and meeting customer requirements.
• Develop and implement processes to maintain compliance and improve efficiency.
• Stay informed on industry standards, including environmental impacts, safety certifications, and healthy building programs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Environmental Studies, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, regulatory compliance, or certification processes.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and environmental systems.
• Proven experience working with regulatory bodies, both domestic and international.
• Skills:
• Proficiency with MS Excel, SolidWorks CAD, Adobe, and similar tools.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Schedule: This is a part-time position with flexible hours and days based on workload.
• Location: Onsite role in East Longmeadow, MA.
• Pay: $57.70/hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Technically-oriented professional experienced with certification of electronic devices or appliances .

• Familiar with certifying bodies like UL, SA, CE, CSA , or similar.
• Training Process : Minimal training required due to expectation of seasoned industry professional.
• Candidate must have experience working with certifying bodies and an established list of industry contacts.
