Product Compliance Manager - Newburgh, IN - $120k - $130k/year


Aegis Worldwide is collaborating with a leading manufacturing company in Newburgh, IN, to find a skilled and driven Product Compliance Manager . This key role involves ensuring all products comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards before they are launched. The Product Compliance Manager will be crucial in managing compliance processes, performing audits, and securing approvals from relevant regulatory bodies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and understand the regulations and standards that apply to products in both US and international markets.
  • Maintain the validity of product certifications, licenses, registrations, and other compliance documentation.
  • Manage and organize compliance databases, including technical files, test reports, country certificates, and declarations of conformity.
  • Conduct gap analysis between old and new standards and communicate required changes to cross-functional teams.
  • Communicate with certification bodies and agencies to obtain required product certifications and approvals.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure timely and accurate updates to product compliance documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product compliance or electrical/electronic product design.
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Familiarity with hazardous environment certifications (MSHA, ATEX, IECEx, SANS) and global wireless directives (FCC, NOM, ANATEL, etc.).
  • Experience with Intrinsically Safe designs and regional import/export compliance (CE, UKCA, RCM, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of industry testing standards and excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
