We're currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a leading manufacturer of custom industrial equipment / machinery in St. Charles, IL. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a vital role in design engineering, working on mainly custom but some standard projects for industrial equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related.
• 2+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer, mechanical designer, mechanical design engineer, product engineer, product designer, product design engineer, product development engineer, design engineer or related role.
• Ideal experience working within a machinery or industrial equipment manufacturer (Large Mechanical System)
• Ideally Machine Design Experience is preferred but also open to industrial equipment, electro-mechanical, or mechanical products that have an industrial application. Pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
• Knowledge or experience working in metal fabrication, machining, and welding environments.

Responsibilities:

• Majority working on custom projects, but also standard/existing projects.
• Design of all new and existing product orders from customers.
• Designing parts, components, and changes to new or existing machine.
• Using SolidWorks for the 3D solid modeling/prototyping.
• Juggling several different equipment projects at one time but primarily focused on the actual design activities that go along with an Engineering position.

1st Shift: with Flexible start times (7am to 4pm, 8am to 5pm)
