Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a dynamic Cloud Engineer to join their team! You will be a part of an initiative to scale cloud capabilities across our client’s organization. This role is span a variety of duties including support, improving scalability, building new capabilities, and architecture.

Duties:

• Serve as a point of contact for cloud and infrastructure-related projects, questions and issues
• Participate in the design, implementation and administration of cloud-based platform solutions working alongside Cloud Architects and other teams (e.g., Web, Database, Storage, Networking, IAM) to ensure that initial and anticipated future business requirements are presented
• Partners with Information Security to ensure that the proposed infrastructure solution complies with our cloud security standards

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 5+ years of professional IT experience including 2+ years of support experience within a related cloud technology such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience working within an infrastructure support role, i.e. networking storage, etc.
• Understanding and experience working with firewalls
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, etc.)
• Preference (not required): DevOps, CI/CD, KQL, MS Azure Certification
