Position : Test Engineer - Senior Level

Compensation : $140-180k + up to 15% bonus
About the Role:
Our client’s Over-the-Air (OTA) testing facility in the Denver area needs a hands-on Test Engineer/Manager to spearhead all testing initiatives for North American customers. This individual will define and perform test procedures, maintain robust wireless test environments, and oversee various automation efforts to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities include drafting test plans, preparing comprehensive reports, troubleshooting complex RF or protocol-level issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams—hardware, software, and manufacturing—to meet organizational standards. This role also involves engaging with customers to ensure solutions align with their technical requirements and strategic goals.
Required Skills:
- Proven background working with DOCSIS, PON, Wi-Fi, and Cellular (LTE/5G) technologies
- Experience with headend solutions (e.g., CMTS, OLT, and 4G/5G network emulators)
- Familiarity with essential networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs
- History of creating and managing wireless test environments within a lab or test house setting
- Ability to work on-site within the Denver metro region
Preferred Skills:
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, including RF or protocol-level troubleshooting
- Effective communication skills to present technical content clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience automating test procedures, streamlining processes, and improving operational efficiencies
