Rate: $52 - $57 / hr. w2

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for user stories within an Agile framework.
• Conduct manual testing (70%) and automation testing (30%) using tools like Selenium and JMeter.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for test management and reporting.
• Perform quality assurance, system integration testing, and back-end testing with SQL.
• Troubleshoot errors, identify root causes, and streamline testing procedures for optimal efficiency.
• Prepare detailed test reports and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams, scrum masters, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Stay current with emerging testing tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance testing effectiveness.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile Methodology: Skilled in attending and contributing to Scrum ceremonies.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps: Familiarity with managing test cycles and workflows.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium and JMeter for performance testing.
• SQL Expertise: Strong ability to write and execute SQL queries to support back-end testing.
• Manual Testing: Comfortable performing manual testing for system functionality and integration.
• Automation Testing: Experience in developing automated test frameworks for enhanced test coverage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Insurance industry experience or familiarity with reinsurance concepts is a plus.
• High-level technical writing skills for documentation and reporting.
• Experience with system integration testing in complex environments.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5-6 years of experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar QA role.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
