Title: Wire Harness Designer – Aerospace Industry

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Wire Harness Designer with expertise in Creo and wiring harness cabling to join our team in the aerospace sector.
• The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize electrical wiring systems and harnesses for cutting-edge aerospace applications.
• This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of wire harnesses using Creo (Creo Parametric and Creo Schematics).
• Design and route electrical wiring harnesses and cabling systems for aerospace applications.
• Develop and manage schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Perform electrical load analysis, signal integrity, and compatibility checks.
• Optimize harness layouts for weight, space, and performance efficiency.
• Work closely with systems engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams.
• Address design feedback and resolve issues during prototyping and production phases.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in wire harness design, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Proficiency in Creo (Creo Parametric and Creo Schematics).
• Strong knowledge of wiring harness and cabling design principles.
• Experience with routing tools and electrical CAD software.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials, connectors, and components.

Preferred

• Knowledge of PLM tools like Windchill or Teamcenter.
• Experience in harness manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with avionics and electrical systems in aircraft.
