Job Title: Director, Family Office Management Team

Managing over $7.5 billion in assets, the firm specializes in addressing sophisticated and complex client needs with a personalized approach.
Position Summary: The Director of the Family Office Management Team (FOMT) will manage complex client relationships by coordinating with internal service, investment research, and advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions. This client-facing role supports day-to-day operations, including asset transfers, tax and estate planning, portfolio administration, and account maintenance. The Director ensures operational excellence, enhances client service delivery, and contributes to strategic initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on financial, tax, retirement, and estate planning.
- Advise on strategic asset allocation, portfolio design, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve portfolio implementation and servicing challenges.
- Prepare for client meetings and follow up with timely administration of accounts and deliverables.
- Develop strategies to improve client service delivery and oversee portfolio adjustments.
- Oversee annual tax reporting efforts and manage periodic reporting requests.
- Lead onboarding processes, including asset management coordination, trust relationships, and reporting setup.
- Monitor client portfolios to ensure compliance with asset allocation models and liquidity requirements.
- Draft client-ready communications and internal reports for financial planning actions.
- Participate in firm-wide initiatives and contribute to management discussions.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in wealth management, estate planning, or tax planning.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take direction and collaborate effectively.
- Flexibility to work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Excel, and familiarity with portfolio reporting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications (CFP, MBA, CFA, CPA, JD) are strongly preferred.
