IT Application Manager

Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid Schedule)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Manager to oversee IT service delivery for key business applications. This role involves managing development teams, prioritizing work requests, and ensuring service levels are met while driving technology solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise teams managing business applications, ensuring timely issue resolution and task prioritization.
• Collaborate with business process owners to align IT solutions with business goals.
• Oversee design, development, and maintenance of applications, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Provide input on IT strategy and develop tactical plans for application development.
• Manage software implementation and update projects (small to medium scale).
• Coordinate resource needs with other IT teams (hardware, software, personnel).
• Control budgets and provide financial/personnel updates to business leaders.
• Maintain vendor relationships for software and services.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• Proven experience managing software development lifecycles and implementation projects.
• Strong background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and industry-specific solutions.
• Familiarity with application programming languages, IT infrastructure, and database management.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Skills:

• Leadership in team management, project planning, and budgeting.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple IT projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of IT compliance, security standards, and infrastructure impacts.

Work Environment:

• Hybrid work schedule in Tulsa, OK with occasional travel to the corporate office.
• Primarily sedentary work with standard office equipment use.
