Job Description:

Summary: In this role, seeking a highly motivated individual who possesses strong technical and analytical skills, with an understanding of the wholesale brokerage insurance industry preferred. The individual is expected to understand requirements, identify appropriate designs, code to the design specifications to ensure a quality solution delivery. Effective collaboration with the business users, IT, and various stakeholders is required. Serves as Technical expert, advisor, and guide to the team of Developers, Devs, Tech Leads.

Responsibilities:

• Enterprise integration for insurance applications
• Contribute to the development and evolution MGU application, processes and documentation, collaborating with internal teams to educate and build awareness of our work
• Perform system analysis, design, development and implementation of enterprise software and scalable solutions in a high transaction environment that use either client server or web technologies
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Development Managers, Architecture, QA and other Software Developers in producing quality software products utilizing best practice methodology and technology
• Participate in design decisions, tool selection and process improvement for developing software
• Collaborate with different development teams geographically distributed as needed
• Design and develop new processes and features
• Maintain and manage existing processes
• Interpreting and understanding the requirements
• Ensuring that developed applications are fit for purpose, easy to maintain, support and deploy

Required Skills:

• Be a team player - support other team members in solving problems and developing features
• Follow best practise secure coding guidelines, such as OWASP, the team’s coding standards
• 4+ years of experience in software development and experience with AGILE/SCRUM
• Experience with C#, .NET Framework 4.0+, LINQ, ASP.NET MVC, and MySQL/SQL Server
• C#.Net – Full-stack development experience

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• 8+ years professional experience
