The Operations Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial operations by managing data accuracy, overseeing reporting cycles, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external custodians. This position is essential for maintaining efficient workflows, driving process improvements, and supporting overall business operations to meet client and organizational needs. Key responsibilities include managing Salesforce cases through quality checks and timely follow-ups, as well as overseeing the entire reporting cycle—from batch creation to report generation, approvals, and postings—to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of reports.
In addition to reporting duties, the analyst is responsible for reconciling alternative investments and custodial accounts to guarantee the accuracy of investment performance data. Acting as a liaison between internal teams and external custodians, the analyst will proactively resolve data discrepancies to maintain smooth operations. The role also involves creating and maintaining detailed process documentation to support continuous operational improvements, ensuring procedures are efficient and up-to-date.
Additional responsibilities include conducting performance reviews and valuation checks, reconciling asset performance, managing the statements inbox, and handling alternative activity notices. The analyst will also track and report on operational metrics and assist with external custodian data feeds to ensure seamless communication between teams. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, 2–6 years of experience in financial services, and strong proficiency in Orion, Salesforce, and other financial platforms. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams are also critical for success in this role.
