Our client is a large manufacturing facility near Indianapolis, and they are looking to add to their growing team. They currently need to hire a Maintenance Manager. • Main duties include:Leading all maintenance activities in a large union manufacturing facility
• Assisting in the programming and troubleshooting of AB and Rockwell PLCs, RS Logix 5000
• Lead the installation of new plant electrical systems
• Using a large budget (over $10 million) to improve overall plant maintenance
• Use process improvement strategies (Lean, Six Sigma, CI,) to help optimize processes
• Setting and/or improving Preventative Maintenance

• Qualifications include:At least an AS degree in Electrical Engineering (strongly preferred, but not required)
• Strong PLC and plant automation experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience leading maintenance in heavy manufacturing
• Union experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with equipment such as casting machines, ovens, melt-shop equipment
