Job Summary
A client of ours, a large independently owned telecom company, is seeking to hire an HR assistant in their low country office. This role will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department on HR matters and assists the department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees. This is a temporary contract with the potential of becoming permanent.
Responsibilities
- Assists in day-to-day Human Resources operations and activities.
- Assists with benefits administration and changes.
- Performs clerical functions.
- Drafts and/or revise documents as necessary.
- Establishes and maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Reviews enrollment forms for accuracy and coordinates enrollment with the third-party administrators.
- Reconciles invoice statements.
- Performs all other assigned duties and projects as directed by management.
Skills
- High school diploma/GED required, prefer Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and HR experience.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years related work experience in Human Resources or related field.
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. UKG Ready, HIRS systems.
