We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer with expertise in Oracle, PL/SQL, and Snowflake to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining system requirements for new or modified database application programs, creating system specifications, and developing, testing, and implementing efficient, cost-effective application solutions. This role requires collaboration with business analysts, data architects, and other IT sections to deliver high-quality database solutions.

Rate: $70 - $73 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

Determine systems requirements for new or modified database application programs.

• Create system specifications and develop, test, and implement efficient, cost-effective application solutions.

• Collaborate with business analysts to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.

• Coordinate activities with client areas and other IT sections, including database, operations, and technical support.

• Work with data architects/modelers on data warehouse reporting solutions.

• Write and tune views, stored procedures, and functions to optimize database performance.

• Prepare deliverables such as source-to-target mappings and transformation rules documentation.

• Adjust to changing priorities and successfully complete multiple tasks simultaneously

Experience Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant work experience in database development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Required Software/Technology:

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
