Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services for Web support
- Lead in the diagnosis, and resolve complex network problems
- Select network devices, and set network policies that adhere to Security guidelines
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
- Maintain and support company’s LAN/WAN environment and Web Hosting Services
- Direct the maintenance, problem resolution and hardware configurations
- Direct the maintenance of all Firewalls and approve requested rule changes in the Firewall Review Board meetings
- Participate in 24x7 on-call and escalations, ensuring that Networking staff are fully trained to support all aspects of the network.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications
- Act as SME in the definition and policy making of network and security protocols.
- Comply with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.
- Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Essential Functions for Load Balancing/ F5 Focus Engineers:
- Create and troubleshoot iRules and apply rules within the F5 appliances.
- Troubleshoot complex and escalated issues and debug services using problem determination tools and logs provided with the F5 appliances.
- Configure and Manage F5 using TMSH and BASH environments.
- Plan and execute firmware upgrades and system management deployments for major and minor upgrades in AWS Cloud and On-Prem VM/ADC devices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience in networking and system administration .
- Hands-on expertise with network devices, policies, and rights management.
- Advanced knowledge with any of the following equipment or disciplines; Load balancers/ F5, Firewalls, Cisco and network switches, Cisco routers, Cisco VPN, Palo Alto, Linux/Windows Servers, Telecom Services
- Strong understanding of common network monitoring and security utilities, Data Center technologies, securing local and remote networks and routing protocols (i.e. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP ).
- Has thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking
- Basic understanding of virtualization and its impact on network designs.
- Familiar with ESX and vSwitch technology .
- A practical level of experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, SFTP, SSH, SSL, SMTP , etc.
- Troubleshooting focused on determining hardware vs. software, hardware vs. firmware, software vs. operating system, network vs. application/systems, and patterned vs. non-repeatable problems
- Advanced experience with F5 LTM, APM, ASM , and iRule development .
- Expertise with BigIQ management and AS3 deployment .
- Hands-on knowledge of MTLS , certificate management , Ansible automation , and Git .
- Proficiency in analyzing network events using tools like TCP Dump and Wireshark .
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP ) and additional technical training.
- Specialized knowledge in AWS cloud deployments (e.g., CFT, DO, Ansible Deploy ).
- Advanced F5 certifications (e.g., 301b+ level ).
